The Little Workshop is a small independent business, established in 2020, in Orrell.  We focus on gifts for many occasions, creative workshops, locally made crafts, upcycling furniture and bespoke commissions.

With a background in textiles/fashion design I have always made or repurposed where I could.  I then moved in to painting furniture and using vintage fabrics to make gifts.  One of the main values of the shop is reuse/recycle and we stock products that also fit in with the ethos.  The whole shop has been fitted out with recycled or repurposed furniture including wooden flooring from an old mill, pallet walls, salvaged doors, the fixtures, fittings and even the lighting in the window all had a previous life, which make the shop very unique.

I wanted to create a welcoming, atmospheric, quirky recycled space to showcase all of my stock.
